It’s good to be around people with views that differ from your own; it keeps you from becoming incorrigibly narrow-minded. 

Something about political correctness really bothers me. I know I wouldn’t want to be rude when expressing myself, but at the same time I want to get my point across as honestly as possible.

Usually, I lean towards political correctness in any given situation, but I feel incredibly pedantic when I do. And hypocritical because I’m all for people expressing themselves, unabashedly.

Lately, I’ve been saying how I feel (as politely as possible) while trying not to give a fuck?… Doesn’t really work out. People will ALWAYS get offended and i’m left apologizing just to be civil.

It’s.so.fucking.annoying.

IDEK where I stand in political correctness anymore. I don’t want to think. 

Before my grandpa died, he told me to travel while I’m young; to travel before I go to college. He told me it’ll be much more beneficial to do it before I go to college. It sounds great! I usually listen to wise counsel (old people seem to know everything)…but I feel like if i travel while i’m young, i’ll never want to go back to school…

So my travelling can wait I suppose. 

Everyone just annoyed me today. I wanted to Jet Li People in their faces. They’re just talking and i’m like:

I’m sorry, but am I the only one who hates the Target commercials? I seriously want to slice my eyes.

Where are the Australians?! All the Americans seem to be asleep…

I’m surprised I haven’t devoured the ice cream in my freezer yet. It usually doesn’t last this long.
